Frequently Asked Questions...

Can a guest wear a black/white floral dress to a wedding?

While out shopping for an April out of town wedding I puchased a 1/2 black 1/2 white floral cocktail dress. It fit well enough to hide all of the "problem areas". I am now getting concerned as I was raised with not wearing any form of white to a wedding.

Since I will need to fly out of state to this wedding I am wondering if I should do more shopping.

Best Answer...

Answer:

Wearing white at weddings was started by Queen Victoria, before that it was merely her best dress and same as with everyone else.
Don't worry , if it looks good wear it!
